Leipurin has completed a review of Group structure and organization. The objective is to streamline cooperation with customers, and to ensure greatest benefits from our international reach in 8 countries. The review does not impact headcounts.
From June 1st, 2021, Leipurin Plc Management Team consists of Group CEO and country manager Finland Heli Arantola, Region East lead and country manager Russia Elena Smirnova, Region Baltics lead and country manager Lithuania Darius Marcinkus, Chief Financial Officer Lauri Lehto, and Director Supply Chain Mikko Tervonen. Recruitment of Director, People & Change is ongoing. To support the Management Team Anna Thostrup has been appointed Manager, Strategy & Management Reporting on January 1, 2021.
A new unit Category Management & Application Development is headed by Heli Arantola (interim) and consists of Group Sourcing, Commodities; Group Sourcing, Technical products and strategic suppliers; Category management; and Innovation Center Network covering our 12 baking centers in 8 countries. Johan Vanhanen has been appointed Group Sourcing Director for Commodities, and Johan Zilliacus has been appointed Group Sourcing Director for Technical products and strategic suppliers.
Elena Melnikova, Marketing Director Russia, has been appointed Head of Branding, Leipurin Group. Mika Coles, Marketing Director Finland, has been appointed Head of Digital marketing & sales, Leipurin Group.
